I teach baby massage to new parents in the Leeds, Wetherby, Harrogate & York area, so that the beautiful benefiits of positive touch can be experienced by our little people!

I bring you my skills as a former Early Years teacher and a mum of two, to guide you through a 6 week baby massage course; delivering beautiful massage strokes and sequences which with regular use will enable you to strengthen your special bond with your baby, reduce crying, and help you both to understand eachother better.

Over the six weeks, I will teach you a full body massage sequence that you can use at home to help soothe and support your baby's developing body. Each weekly baby massage class will focus on a different body part and will be brought together to form the full body sequence. Regular baby massage also supports you baby to develop good muscle tone and coordination, supporting those early physical milestones. Baby massage is known to support the circulatory and digestive systems which can really help during the bouts of colic, constipation and trapped wind that our little ones often suffer with. In addition it can help your littel one to sleep for longer, more restful bouts and can boost their immune system!

 I have a specific short baby massage sequence that you will learn which directly targets the discomforting symptoms of colic. In addition, I teach you a short massage sequence to help your little ones with the pain and discomfort that comes with teething.

Our baby massage classes are suitable from birth until baby becomes an active crawler. It is taught in welcoming and supportive groups of up to 10 babies and their caregivers. Each class runs for about 45 minutes and includes a little bottle of baby massage oil and the opportunity for a cuppa and a natter.
